Faithful Acolytes,
The time has come. As foretold, the Great Old Ones have delivered their latest offering, reshaping the world in their unfathomable image. Madness Refined patch has arrived, bringing new landscapes, deeper control over your cult’s fate, and countless refinements to smooth your descent into the abyss.
For those who heard the whispers days ago and awaited this moment - the veil has lifted, and the path is open. Step forward. The unknown beckons.
New Ways to Shape Your Cult
- A New Realm Awaits – A fresh sandbox map set in the marshlands emerges, challenging you to survive in its murky depths. Twisted trees loom, and the land itself resists your dominion. Can you thrive where decay reigns?
- More Control Over Chaos – The sandbox experience expands with multiple new options, allowing you to adjust difficulty, introduce unpredictable challenges, or bend the world to your will. More ways to experiment. More ways to descend into madness.
- Rituals Made Simple – The Carving Ceremony now has an easy mode in addition to a regular one. No need to draw symbols with trembling hands - simply choose your reward, and it shall be granted. The Old Ones care only for devotion.
- No More Waiting Between Rituals – Carving Ceremonies now have separate cooldowns. No longer will one ritual delay another. Work must continue, sacrifices must be made.
Balance & Fixes – The Veil Strengthened
The world bends and corrects itself:
- Pure Sandbox I is restored – Resources now appear where they should, and enemy attacks now function properly. You are no longer safe.
- Ships now behave as they should, no longer idly passing by as horrors unfold.
- Ruin anomalies have been corrected – No more disappearing structures.
- Deposits now rest properly on solid ground. No more floating resources - unless the void wills it.
- Sacrificial Pile saves in sandbox mode now function as intended.
- Polished words – English & Polish text corrections bring clarity to the whispers of the void.
- Performance improvements ensure smoother, more stable horrors.
A Rare Honor – Steam Community Items Are Now Live
The Great Old Ones have granted us a sacred gift. Steam Badges, Profile Borders, and more community items are now live, marking your devotion in ways beyond the game itself.
🔹 Earn badges simply by playing - proof of your allegiance to the abyss.
🔹 Collect trading cards imbued with eldritch energy.
🔹 Display your mark with Steam profile borders, a testament to your cult’s dedication.
These are not rewards to be bought or begged for. They are earned. Show your devotion, and the void shall recognize you.
The Descent Continues
This is but another step along the path. More whispers will come. More changes will shape your world. The stars continue their slow rotation, and the Great Old Ones remain ever watchful.
The madness deepens. The void calls.
