The upcoming update will bring forth a brand-new sandbox experience, immersing you in a fresh, haunting landscape filled with unseen trials. Alongside it, new modifiers and challenges will emerge, giving those who dare to experiment even more ways to shape their cult’s fate.
But that is not all - balance adjustments and quality-of-life refinements will smooth the path before you, addressing long-whispered concerns and reinforcing the foundations of your journey into madness. A Rare & Forbidden Honor – Steam Community Items
Amidst the chaos, a new blessing has been bestowed upon us. Not all who dwell within Steam’s domain are granted this honor, but the Great Old Ones have smiled upon us. With this upcoming update, Steam Community Items will become available, marking your devotion in ways beyond the veil of the game itself.
But what are these sacred artifacts?
- Emojis – Symbols of madness that can be wielded across Steam, showing your allegiance to the abyss.
- Trading Cards – Collect and exchange eldritch fragments, each infused with the essence of the game.
- Badges – A most coveted treasure - an insignia of devotion that can be displayed on your Steam profile. Earn these by merely playing the game, proving your commitment to the cult. Can you claim them all?
This is a momentous occasion, a rare privilege granted to few. With these additions, the reach of Worshippers of Cthulhu extends beyond the game itself, allowing you to carry the mark of your devotion across the digital void.
The Descent Begins Soon
The next chapter in our journey unfolds on February 3rd. Prepare yourselves, for the new trials that await will demand both cunning and sacrifice. Whether you shape your path in the new sandbox, embrace the latest challenges, or collect the artifacts, the void beckons, and it does not wait for the hesitant.
The Great Old Ones watch, and they are pleased.
