Hello. Survivors.
I'm Ray, Director of Development for The Midnight Walkers.
I'd like to start by saying a big thank you to all the players who participated in our first pre-alpha test.
We're still in the early stages of development, so there's a lot of things that are still missing, but the fact that you've had so much fun with the game in such a short amount of time has been very encouraging to our development team. So thank you.
We've gotten a lot of hints from this test to make a more complete game.
We also realized our shortcomings, and it was a valuable time for us to get a clearer sense of what direction we need to develop in.
This test was intended to validate the basic game mechanics of The Midnight Walkers, which we developed from August last year to April this year, and as our first field test, it was conducted from the perspective of a technical test to check for technical defects and improve stability.
Therefore, we are truly sorry and grateful for the unfriendly gaming experience, unreasonable balance, frequent errors and checks, and the loss of your valuable time.
Despite the interruption during the previous test period due to an AWS account blocking issue that occurred in the early morning hours of the first day, we were really impressed that you were able to stick around for two more weeks, and that you enjoyed the playtest once again. Your feedback and bug reports helped us to identify various issues that we didn't see during the development process.
All of the feedback and bug reports collected during the test period will be reviewed by the development team.
We'd also like to say a huge thank you to the many streamers who continued to play and stream, even if it was only for a short time, even though many of their favorite titles were released and available to play.
All of our developers watched every single one of the channels and content you streamed and had a good laugh while monitoring them during the testing period.
While this test validated the basic game mechanics and performed technical tests, the next test will bring a lot of polish, new additions, and expanded volume so that you can experience the unique gameplay of The Midnight Walkers in its entirety.
Despite our unresponsiveness and shortcomings during the test period, we'd like to thank you for sticking with us.
We're now hard at work on the next phase of development, and we'll continue to communicate with you as diligently as we have been.
It's been an honor to share our first pre-alpha beta with you!
Keep up the great work and support, and we hope to see you at the next test.
Thank you.
Oneway Ticket Studio Dev Team and Ray.
