If you haven't already please leave me a Steam review, it really helps me a lot!
I’m very happy to announce that MR FARMBOY is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
This is a huge milestone for me, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported the game on Steam. Whether you bought the game, left a review, shared feedback, reported bugs, joined the Discord, or simply gave the game a chance, it has all helped MR FARMBOY grow into what it is today.
The Steam version will continue to be supported, and I’m excited to bring MR FARMBOY to even more players on Nintendo Switch.
Thank you for being part of this journey. ːsteamhappyː
V1.1.0, more updates will follow!
Removed the 500 Worker Limit on Normal Mode.
(Developer Node: You can now hire as many as you want, keep in mind performance will degrade the more you hire, based on computer specs, Multithreading Beta may help with this!)
Refactored the way resources get loaded into the game, the game itself should start much faster on slower hardware, a big chunk then will be loaded on its way to the main menu, then another big chunk on its way to your game world, using multithreading and asynchronized loading.
(Developer Note: Powerful setups shouldn't notice any big difference)
Added Tutorial Font Size setting in Options > Accessibility.
Added FPS setting in Options > Video.
Added Launch Options
Multithreading - Beta
Distributed CPU core usage improves performance.
(Developer Note: Consider helping me test these builds, they will become the default in the future. Please let me know about your experience with them in the forums or discord, would love to know about crashes, how good it runs, etc!)
