As of this announcement, Cinnabunny beta v1.9 is live. In this version, I switched from deploying for a development build to a shipping build. What does this mean? Among other things, it means your save file is located in a separate location now. So, if you've played the beta before v1.9, you'll need to move your save file or you'll have to start a new game. Here's how to carry over your save from previous beta versions:
- Make sure you're on the new version and start the game (if there is no beta screen when you first luanch, then you're golden).
- Exit the game
- Go to steam, right click cinnabunny > properties > installed files > browse
- Navigate to the folder Cinnabunny and copy the entire "Saved" folder
- Now navigate to YOUR_USER_NAME/AppData/Local/Cinnabunny and copy the Saved folder here. Overwrite any files if it asks
Now you should be able to start the game up without missing any of your previous save info. Please reach out if you have any questions!
