Hey Cozy Caravaners!
Grab your waders, it's time to go fishing! Today, we've got our initial release of the fishing activity! You'll see some mysterious fish swimming about, and once you've acquired your very own fishing rod, you can kick back and drop in a line.
To get started, Mirela in Clamberry will need a courier for a ✨special package✨ addressed to Arthur at the Guild Hall. Lend a hand, and you'll see a new toy available in the Guild Catalogue.
To start with, there are a few different fish to find, and we'll be adding more in upcoming updates. Whenever you catch a fish for the first time (or a new size record), you'll pose for a photo to log it in your journal.
The fishing activity is still in a relatively early state, and we'll be continuing to refine and improve it, so we'd love to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas!
In addition, there's a new fishing-themed caravan decoration to celebrate the occasion, along with some new colour schemes!
Fixes
- Recipe/outfit mix-ups fixed for various outfits.
- Logic fixed for applying frog stickers on postcards (not all stickers were showing up).
- Photo Topiary quest now continues properly.
- Bubba Chats no longer repeat existing conversations.
- Added backup system for recipe letters.
- Nightshade Outfit Pack outfit is no longer a craftable recipe.
- Book return text fixed for Mirela, Angela, and Dottie.
- Fix objectives for Grandma Dolly's Stew quest remaining on postcards even after completion.
- Various environmental collision fixes.
- Fixed the wrong photos being shown in the photo album pages.
- Fixed collision with some caravan customisation adornments.
- Fixed the road from Croaker's Gully to Grandview Gardens not requiring the muddy wheels upgrade (SEE NOTE BELOW)
NOTE: If you used this road to go to Cottonbluff Cove before purchasing the muddy wheels upgrade, you will not be able to drive back to Harvestvale. But don't worry! You can use the "Help I'm Stuck" option in the settings menu to warp you and your caravan back to Fellowood Acres. Apologies!
Balance Adjustments
- Station boosts decreased from 30% to 25%
- Big reduction in happiness required for guild tokens, level increment reduced from 20 to 10
- Increased guild token costs for most gameplay upgrades
- Recipe boost no longer stacks with ingredient boosts - Overall its a little quicker to get to the same level of upgrades, but the cosmetic upgrades are far less cost prohibitive.
- Activities now give one recipe per day, but it’s easier to get them, and all activities can now give recipes
Thanks as always for all of your feedback and assistance while we continue to build and grow the world of Cozy Caravan. We'd love to see you in our Discord server if you're not already there. Come say hello, we're very friendly!
