Hey Cozy Carvaners! We've got a juicy update today. Let's jump straight in!
Change your Character Species
The Magic Cave...of Magic!
After many requests, we proudly present — The Magic Cave...of Magic! Talk to the mysterious ghost, and let it change you into the animal of your choice... for a price.
New Animals!
But maybe you're looking for an excuse to check out the Magic Cave...of Magic? How about two new animals to choose from? If you've felt a kinship with our favourite Guild Rep Arthur, now you can be a seal as well!
Or maybe Bob is more to your taste? Now you too can be an Opossum or an Australian Ringtail Possum!
Caravan Customisation
And we've also introduced new ways to customise your caravan — inside and out! Now, not only can you change the internal colour scheme, you can change the adornments on the exterior with new packs.
We've got three packs available today, with more on the way! Plus, we've got a bunch of new colour-schemes to put on your caravan. All of these can be changed at will with the new Customisation screen.
Note about Existing Caravan Customisation
Because we've updated how the customisation system works, your previously applied colours will default back to normal, and any colours you've already purchased will be automatically refunded. Now, you can purchase the caravan customisation upgrade from the guild, and you'll receive a colour pack with the purchase.
Roadmap
Once again, we've asked Bubba if he can give us a lil update on the roadmap. Where are we at now, Bubba?
General updates
We've also added some new options to help make your experience playing Cozy Caravan more comfortable.
New Options
- New 'Soft Camera Movement' option in the controls menu for people who have discomfort with the default camera.
- A 'Reduce Wet Sounds' option in the audio menu for people who dislike the sloppy sounds during cooking.
Changes
- The character now draws a 'shadow' on the screen when obscured to help keep track of your position.
- Updates to dialogue for Stew quest to improve clarity.
- Updated white camera flash to a black shutter. Rejoice, photo-sensitive folks!
- For anyone missing their old Hoyo~, this update has reduced the number of variants, and made the original sound more likely to play than any other.
- Fixed an issue where hitchhikers waiting to be picked up could be talked to during a market, causing chaos.
