Heads up, Heroes!
If you’ve been hanging out in our Discord, you know that the weekends get a little chaotic! But for those of you tracking updates right here on Steam, it’s time to officially welcome you to the weekly tournaments: Crystal Storm.
Every Saturday between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM PST, the energies of the crystals surge and offer a prime opportunity to jump into multiplayer, test your skills, and queue up with the community.
🌪️Tournament Game Mode Varies Weekly
To keep you on your toes, Crystal Storms alternate formats every single week.
First Saturday: The storm brews exclusively in Conquest Multiplayer Mode.
Next Saturday: It shifts over to Duel Mode matches.
No matter the mode, our goal is to get the community together, fill the queues, and let the spells fly. Speaking of flying...
⚠️ New Enemy Type: The Flying Geode
Just when you thought you had the battlefield mapped out, the storm has stirred up something new. July 4th marks the debut of a brand-new threat appearing in the Conquest map: Flying Geodes.
The Lore:
For centuries, these dense, crystalline rocks sat dormant deep within the realm's fault lines, absorbing stray magical runoff. The violent energy of the Crystal Storms has finally cracked them open. No longer bound by gravity, they float effortlessly across the arena, fiercely guarding the crystals.
What to Expect:
Unlike your typical ground-based grunts, Flying Geodes stay airborne and will follow you to high ground. They won’t try to rush you, instead, they keep their distance and fire Aether projectiles. You'll need to keep your eyes on the skies, adjust your aiming, and weave aerial defense into your combat rotation if you want to survive.
🏆 Storm Rewards: Claim Your Glory (and Essence!)
Fighting off the storm isn't just about survival, it's about climbing the ranks. We are putting some serious spoils on the line for those who dominate the leaderboards during the event window:
The Top 3 Players on the event leaderboard will take home a bounty of Essence (our hard currency) to spend on their favorite cosmetics and unlocks.
The #1 Top Player will secure ultimate bragging rights and a special, exclusive event Avatar to show off.
