It’s hard to believe it’s been only 3 months since the release! The pace has been intense, and here’s a quick recap of what’s been added so far:
- Quality of Life improvements, including a revamped level-up screen.
- Balancing adjustments, such as the update to the normal world boss.
- The Codex has been introduced, making it easier to understand how the weapon works.
- A brand-new world with a fresh system and replayability for the cats already in the game.
- 3 new cats, bringing the total number of weapons to 11, with 28 final evolutions!
The feedback has been incredibly positive, and I want to thank you all for your support during Early Access. There’s still a lot of work ahead, with the next focus being adding more cats and weapons!
Next update
The upcoming Christmas-themed update will introduce a new cat Kittree.
What’s next? Here’s a glimpse:
- More classic cats—some of which are already designed! The ratio of special cats to classic ones is a bit unbalanced right now!
- New weapons without new cats, simply increasing the total weapon pool in the game.
- Improving the early game by making weapons from the first three unlockable cats available earlier. This way, while discovering and testing new cats, you’ll also have the chance to try weapons you haven’t unlocked yet! Noxy is the first new weapon you can currently unlock, and it’s only available after finishing the game!
- Meta progression: Adding levels to existing options or introducing entirely new ones.
- New difficulty levels with more exciting options. The goal is to introduce more variety in runs (boss waves, new enemies, etc.). Currently limited to 5, but eventually, it will go up to 15, unlocking the final world: Serenity.
- More QoL improvements and balancing, including the addition of the Codex in-level and changes to weapon families!
There’s so much more to come, and I appreciate you being part of this journey. Stay tuned, and thank you for your continued support!
