Many of our dear customers have asked for the ability to place walls and partial walls in our Blood Bar. Well, Papa Grenier just turned a general building contractor into a ghoul—and now it’s done!
The feature is still in Beta! You need to activate the beta branch if you want to test it!
What you can do with this new system:
- You can split rooms with walls if you want to.
- You can freely place walls without creating a new room (partial walls).
- You can create a room inside another room.
- You can expand existing interior rooms.
- The building and destruction menus have been merged together.
Features you may have missed:
- You can break snapping while placing furniture by pressing Alt.
- You can paint walls and floor tiles one by one in the construction menu (the small button between paints & doors).
- You can place multiple pieces of furniture by holding Shift while left-clicking.
Why is the feature still in Beta?
We’ve tested it, but it’s a major change to our system. That’s why we need your help to track potential bugs before rolling it out to everyone.

More quality-of-life improvements for the building system are in our backlog. If you have a request, let us know! If we can do it, we will. Otherwise, we’ll be honest about it.
