Hello everyone! Here's some long-awaited patch notes for August 2024, Some entries may include updates from other changelogs we wanted to highlight.
Features/Modifications:
- Contraband in paystations may now be confiscated by Cortex fates
- Contraband may no longer be taken out of/put into public lockers
- New Storage Container - "Scum Lockers" may be used to store contraband, like the personal locker but with the ability to store contraband components/equipment.
- Soil no longer vanishes anymore after it is used in a pot
- Slave fate added
- Raised frequency of game events
- Music will periodically play [from v0.3.4a]
- Advertisement cost/post adjustment [may be posted up to 4 days, cost is now 6 credits per hour]
- Improved various sounds
- Liquidators get rewarded for refilling generators
- Added civil center near laundromat [v0.3.3]
- Added shop near laundromat [v0.3.3]
- Added bulletin board [v0.3.3]
Patches/Bugfixes:
- Rot spores are now (hopefully) unable to go into inaccessible areas now
- Adjusted rot changes to accustom to Proles not doing their job as the Cortex demands
- Suisoda will now consume itself properly
- Fuel refinery has been hotfixed
- Fixed server's radio station playlist
- Skinning corpses will affect the rot level properly
- Slave boulder spawns fixed
- Rot node spawns fixed
- Fixed various exploits
- Fixed bug causing "ghost items" to appear in inventory
- Adjusted certain player stats
- Improved death/spawn sequence
- Improved sparks sound
- Changed compilation method to improve performance (let us know if you see a difference!)
- Added rate limitors to certain expensive methods on the server
