Hello everyone! Here's another update, thank you all so much for the feedback, both here in the community and on Discord. It really helps us catch critical issues and other rough edges, so please keep it coming.
This update overhauls player speed, armor and stamina balance, adds the tenth quest "Time Served" along with new gear, medicine and achievements, improves monster and bandit behavior, and fixes a broad range of quest, map and interface bugs.
Updates
Balance
Reduced weapon durability loss when shooting.
Increased player speed by 5%.
Reworked the player speed calculation, fixed bugs with overload, skills, negative effects, and a combination of everything at once.
The rate at which heart rate rises while walking and sprinting reduced by 10%.
Added all skills of the physical branch. The "Body Adaptation" skill now gives a 15% reduction in stamina consumption while sprinting, and the "General Training" skill increases total stamina by 15%.
Increased armor, also reworked the calculation of armor durability loss; previously armor did little to protect from damage. Helmet durability decreases 4 times slower than armor durability.
Reduced weapon durability loss when shooting by about 50%.
Quests
Added the tenth quest "Sentence Served" (for now you'll have to replay the last quest; for some players the switch to the new quest worked incorrectly, so it's more reliable to do it this way).
Added an additional check for the absence of a quest at the start of the mission; for some players the quest could disappear.
Reworked the bed crafting after the quest "Welcome Home"; you only need to pick up a special item and build with it. Some players spent resources on other crafting and the quest could get ruined.
Changed the calibration block item.
Map
Changed the saving of the time of day; while the player is in the Underside, this time doesn't count in the real world, also fixed several bugs.
Fixed the collisions of fences and playground items so that shots pass through them.
Inventory
Added the missing monster loot.
Added the ability to sell casings.
Added the "Gas Mask Pouch" rig, which gives 4 inventory cells and 1 kg of carry weight.
Added an accelerating medicine (combat stimulant) +30% speed for 60 seconds.
Added an intermediate body armor, Vokhra.
Armor is now disassembled into the item "armor fabric", which will be needed to produce armor repair kits.
Changed backpack capacity depending on their tier. Basic backpacks have 64 cells and increase in size from there.
Increased the spawn chance of monster loot, but reduced the price of their simplest loot.
Reduced the weight of some items toward realism.
Changed the spawn chance of some loot.
Monsters/NPCs
Added a turn toward the player for monsters if they're standing point-blank, so they keep attacking if the player shifts position.
Added more mass to monsters so they don't fly off after being killed.
Bandits determine which target is closer and switch to it.
Added a delay before bandits start shooting.
Sound
Added sounds when opening/closing doors.
Added a sound for eating sugar, cookies, and other items.
Changed the sounds for crafting and disassembling items.
Interface
Reduced the display range of oxygen stations on the compass in the Underside (previously all were shown).
Added display of item stats at the trader.
Added display of level and current experience in the skills menu.
Other
Added the achievement "One Man Is No Warrior".
Added the achievement "Handyman".
Added the achievement "Nail in the Coffin".
