⚙️ Patch Notes – Fixes Deployed Today
Update is now live
Hey everyone! 👋 Matt here
Here’s a list of everything that’s been fixed and improved in today’s build. Thanks so much for the reports and for helping track down these issues, please let me know if everything works fine or better on your side! ⚒️
🍖 Gameplay & Survival
Food decay rate fixed — most food will no longer decay to avoid issues during quests or regular gameplay.
Thirst, hunger, and sleep stats fixed — now they save and reload properly, and can be cleared correctly after loading.
Nourishment quest — fixed the issue where the horse was missing if you saved during the quest.
💬 Dialogue & Quests
Fixed a bug where dialogue wouldn’t progress if the previous line didn’t load correctly, during the dialogue with Amis and John — please test if it now works correctly on your side.
Fixed Basic NPCs no longer display a “talk” option when they’re not meant to be interactable.
💼 Loot & Inventory
Fixed loot bags disappearing after dropping or killing enemies.
Loot now stays longer on the ground after kills, and loot from surrender or kills now has a VFX highlight for easier spotting.
Camp area containers now correctly save loot after reloading. All items should be there.
Fixed a bug where the inventory couldn’t be closed due to a pop-up prompt. Please confirm.
🏗️ World & Merchants
Merchants should now spawn correctly in all areas.
Building cost UI fixed — straw cost is now properly displayed.
Helmet merchant issue has been fixed.
🧭 UI & Interface
Fixed a bug where opening tutorials during the camp menu could break the UI.
Removed the Difficulty Settings text that was causing a minor options menu error.
🔜 Next Fixes (Coming Tomorrow)
Tomorrow I’ll post a new list with upcoming fixes, including:
