Hey all! This week, I'm shining the spotlight on a unique skill for the Occultist class: Counterhex! Elemental resistances can play a pretty big part both in deciding which classes to deploy and what moves to make during battle, which makes the use of Resist Up effects useful, and sometimes even critical. Occultist has the unique ability to adapt it's resistances on the fly with Counterhex, increasing it's survivability considerably in the right situation.
I've included the skill description, but to summarize, Occultists will gain an elemental resistance buff to the element they were most recently damaged by, allowing them to better execute their intended gameplay style of debilitating a single target and sticking on them until they are defeated. In combination with multiple sources of lifesteal and attack reduction effects, Counterhex allows the Occultist to take aggressive positions and either apply powerful debuffs or defeat an enemy where other classes may be at more risk.
