Hello everybody! Welcome to the 7th development update of Iconia Defenders! I think i'm getting used to make these posts...
Today I come with what may look like a little update, but oh dear, it was a lot of work.
We started to work on game translations! And we have implemented various languages for the current game's content:
French
Spanish
Italian
Portuguese
German
Russian
Polish
Japanese
Simplified Chinese
Traditional Chinese
Korean
This required not only to translate the strings of the game, but to adapt it to be more resilient to the differences in size and shape of each language.
This is the information panel of the skill tree in 3 different languages:
You may also noticed that the store page is translated now, so everyone can see the store page in their native language. Well, only those which language is one of the ones mentioned above.
As I mentioned, the amount of work was pretty big. Between translations, making tools, fixing UIs, and trying to review that everything is correct, a whole week of development went away at the speed of light (maybe a bit more). Was it worth it? Yes, specially that now we know which things to consider for the next time.
Please keep in mind that some translations may be incorrect or perhaps incomplete, If you find anything that is not correctly translated, let us know! And we will work on it.
Thanks for reading!! God bless you all and have a wonderful week!
