Sometimes, building the future starts with tearing down the past.
For the first time in Construction Simulator history, demolition is going to be a fully integrated gameplay feature in Construction Simulator: Evolution. Old buildings, industrial structures, walls, chimneys and more will stand between you and your next project — and it will be up to you to make room for what comes next.
Our new Reshape the Future Trailer gives you a first look at this major new addition to the series.

Tear it down. Build something new.
Construction has always been about creating something new. But sometimes, before the first foundation can be laid, something else has to go.
With demolition, Construction Simulator: Evolution expands the familiar construction site experience with an entirely new phase of work. You'll take on contracts that require you to dismantle existing structures before the site can be transformed.
And demolition isn't simply about hitting a building until it disappears.
Different structures are made from different materials, and wood, brick, concrete and steel each react differently to your equipment. Choosing the right machine and attachment can make the difference between carefully dismantling a structure and taking a much more direct approach.
Sometimes, precision is the answer.
Sometimes, it is a wrecking ball.
Demolition In-Depth
Want to see exactly how it works?
Our new Demolition In-Depth takes you to an old industrial site in Amber Falls, our US-inspired map, where an existing complex needs to make way for something new.
The contract combines wooden elements, brick, reinforced concrete and steel, giving us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the different approaches available to you.

The right tool for the job
Different materials offer different levels of resistance.
Wooden structures can often be removed with relatively simple tools – sometimes even the bucket already attached to your excavator will do the job.
Brick can be tackled with several attachments, while concrete requires considerably more force. A hydraulic breaker, for example, delivers repeated blows into the material until the damaged surface begins to crumble into rubble.
For areas where greater control is required, a demolition shear can bite through concrete sections piece by piece instead.
The machine carrying the attachment matters as well. A larger excavator can transfer more force and remove heavy material faster, while smaller machines can access confined areas that their bigger counterparts simply cannot reach.
In the end, bigger isn't always better.
Bring out the Wrecking Ball
Of course, there are situations where subtlety is optional.
The officially licensed SENNEBOGEN 670 E, equipped with a wrecking ball, gives you one of the most spectacular tools available for demolition.
How you use it is up to you.
Raise the ball and drop it vertically onto horizontal surfaces. Pull it toward the boom before releasing it for a more controlled strike. Or commit to the classic full swing and use momentum to tear large sections out of brick or concrete structures.
Accuracy, force and timing all influence the result.
And yes – it is every bit as satisfying as it sounds.
Concrete, Steel and Manual Work
Once the surrounding structure is gone, tougher elements may still remain.
Steel components require a different approach and can be handled with a combi cutter, which is suitable for cutting through steel as well as other materials such as concrete.
Licensed equipment and attachments from both new and returning partners will help you tackle these jobs, including Epiroc combi cutters and dedicated concrete-cutting attachments.
And not everything calls for heavy machinery.
When an excavator cannot reach a narrow section or only a small piece remains, you can step out of the cab and finish the job yourself using the handheld demolition hammer.
Demolition therefore becomes another part of the wider workflow in Construction Simulator: Evolution, combining heavy machinery, specialized attachments and manual labor on the same construction site.
Your site. Your approach.
Demolition contracts still provide clear objectives and individual work steps, but once you're inside an active demolition area, how you complete the job is largely up to you.
Choose where to begin.
Decide which machine fits the situation.
Switch attachments as the structure changes.
Take a careful, controlled approach – or rely on brute force.
A larger machine might complete the job faster. A smaller one might reach an area the larger equipment cannot. And sometimes, the best solution is simply the one you enjoy using the most.
As long as the required structure is gone when you're finished, we'll call it a successful day on site.
Reshape the Future
Demolition represents one of the biggest additions we've ever made to the Construction Simulator series, adding a completely new dimension to the work waiting for you in Construction Simulator: Evolution.
Because sometimes, before you can build something new, you first have to make room for it.
We can't wait to see how you approach your first demolition contracts.
