Welcome to the first Granvir Development Update, a series showcasing new and existing features of the game. This isn't just a sneak peak, if you see something you like or have a cool idea leave a comment behind. I want to make Granvir the best game I can, and I can't do it alone!

Color Swapping
Today I'll be breaking down how you can currently customize your Granvir with the painting system. The ability to swap the color and surface properties of materials across the whole mech is at the core of the system. You can pick your favorite matte drab hue or dazzle your enemies with a kaleidoscope of color.

Direct Painting
If swapping colors isn't enough, you can go one deeper by reassigning regions on individual parts. This enables flashy asymmetric designs and magical rainbow vomit.

Future Development
Currently, painting can be done between missions at no time cost, unlike many other activities. I'd love to add some cool gameplay mechanics that allow you to throw off pursuers by changing your paint scheme or picking a garish design to more quickly build both good and bad reputation but letting players be creative is the most important.
If you like these customization options or want to see more customization features like decals or camos, please let me know below!
