Event Update: The special demo event, where players could win up to five keys, has now concluded. The demo will be reverted to its original state, containing the same scenes as before the event. Thank you to everyone who participated!
New Features and Additions:
• Healing Chant Ability: A new ability has been introduced to reduce reliance on healing potions. Different levels of this ability are now available in all shops (up to level 8), allowing players to purchase higher levels as they progress. The Healing Chant has a cooldown period, ensuring balanced gameplay and encouraging strategic use of both the chant and potions. Consequently, healing potions will become less abundant in the world, requiring players to purchase them or manage resources wisely.
Tier 2 Armour Completion:
• Divine Fortune Chestplate and Trousers
• Guardian of Steel Chestplate Armour With these additions, all Tier 2 armour types are now complete. Work will now shift towards developing Tiers 3 and 4, which will be introduced in Chapters 2 and 3 and 4. This is an exciting step forward in expanding the game’s content.
New Armour Sets:
Glory of the East Set:
- Available as rewards for Chapter 2 quests, with pieces found in Level 2 caves and Toothless Rick’s shop.
- Toothless Rick returns in Chapter 2 as a trader.
- Wit of Heroes Set:
- A new armour set with pieces available as drops in the Chapter 2 boss level and at Toothless Rick’s store.
- Additional rewards can be earned from completing the “Long Road to Wynter” quest, which involves diplomatic missions with the elves.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
• Adjusted armour stats across various sets.
• Corrected grammar mistakes and resolved icon duplication issues.
• Lowered the prices of small and medium stamina and health potions to help players save money for new items in subsequent chapters.
• Updated trader inventories to ensure they stock all new items.
Fixed minor issues, including:
- Skeleton names for certain NPCs.
- Grammar errors in weapon descriptions.
- Incorrect icons (e.g., trousers showing as boots).
Chapter 2 Updates:
• Added new story elements, including:
• Story elements in the cave boss area and cave levels 1 and 2.
• A new story element in the White Shallows at the Obsidian Talons camp. Which gives more hints to what the group is all about.
• Toothless Rick has been added as a trader in Chapter 2. He is only available if you choose a non-aggressive path with the goblin conglomerate in Warlington Town.
A Heartfelt Thank You: To everyone who has supported me this year by purchasing my game, providing feedback, or creating content, I cannot thank you enough. Your encouragement has been invaluable.
