Dear Commander,
First and foremost, we sincerely thank you for your long-term attention and support for the Book of Yog series. We are deeply aware that it is players like you who give us the motivation to keep moving forward.
We are writing to inform you about an adjustment to the pricing model of Book of Yog: Season Edition.
After thoroughly analyzing player feedback from the previous title, Book of Yog, and in order to deliver a more complete, pure, and immersive gaming experience in Book of Yog: Season Edition, our team has carefully evaluated and decided to make a significant change to the game’s business model: shifting from the originally planned free-to-play model to a one-time purchase (buy-to-play) model.
We believe this change will allow us to focus more on refining the core content and gameplay, ensuring that after your purchase, you can enjoy a richer and more complete game world without distractions from subsequent in-app purchase designs. Our goal is to create a work that allows you to fully immerse yourself and enjoy a pure gaming experience.
We fully understand that this adjustment may inconvenience those of you who have been looking forward to a free experience, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment. We hold every bit of your expectations close to our hearts and kindly ask for your understanding regarding this difficult decision made in pursuit of better game quality.
The development team is currently working diligently to perfect Book of Yog: Season Edition. We sincerely hope you will continue to accompany and support us throughout the development journey. Your feedback and suggestions remain invaluable to us.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued patience and trust. We look forward to presenting you with a satisfying experience when Book of Yog: Season Edition officially launches.
Thank you for being with us. Let’s continue moving forward together.
The Book of Yog Team
