After almost 3 years of development during which we were working on a tight budget and had to overcome many hurdles - not the least of which was the cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy treatment of our main developer - we have now finally released "The Great Rebellion", our cyberpunk roguelite run'n'gun/twinstick shooter full of dark humor and satire! And what a release it was: we immediately started trending and made first place under newly released games.
We could not be happier with the reviews we got so far: 170 reviews in just 4 days, 99% of which are positive. Some highlights:
- " With its blend of dark humour reminiscent of the original Fallout games, It delivers a narrative that's both hilarious and thought-provoking. It's a refreshing change of pace from the typical serious tone of many roguelikes, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The Great Rebellion' is a must-play for fans of the roguelike genre. With its great progression, lack of bugs, amazing music, and darkly humorous story. Don't miss out on this hidden gem – it's worth every penny."
- "Please, leave your pearls at the door and have a sense of humour, this is satire at its most relevant and frankly hilarious."
- "Best 2d rogue-lite since Dead Cells"
- "You there, reading this. If you've still got your wits about you, then buy this game and a good time."
- "'The Great Rebellion' truly stands out as a shining gem in the genre."
We hope you will also enjoy playing our game just as much, have fun and join the rebellion!
