During Last Flag’s open beta last month, we were beyond excited to see so many new players head into Copper Falls and begin their quests to become flag-finding super stars. We had a blast teaming up with everyone in the Quick Match queue, and after digging into the data, discovered a few fun stats that we wanted to share with you.
Without further ado, here are the stats:
All the cash bots wanted to do was roam the countryside, and you obliterated them. Good going. We hope you remembered to spend the cash on upgrades, at least.
Open beta players tended to pick Knives, Tango, and Scout a bit more often than the rest of the cast.
Stealth does make Knives pretty good at roaming the map and stealing things undetected.
We’re sure that this is shocking news to everyone, but it turns out players really like to fight over the Radar Tower at the center of the map.
Think your team can top 5,000 points at launch?
That’s a lot of back-and-forth! It probably even went into overtime. Spoiler alert: The blue team won.
We’re not sure who this player is, but earning the top score in 178 separate matches is no easy feat! If this was you, please reach out. FEX TV would like to set you up with two front-row tickets to the next episode of Toddler Joust.
There you have it! We’re still working on even more ways we can share little details like these after launch. So if you have a suggestion for something you think would be fun for us to dig into, like how many times Arsenal teleported a flag carrier, for example, let us know.
Additionally, we received mountains of feedback from those of you who took part in February’s open beta. We’re in the process of making lots of adjustments and improvements based on the thoughts you shared with us. So keep an eye out over the coming days for more details about the changes you can expect to see at launch on April 14.
