Hi detectives!
We are back with another bigger update about Follow the meaning’s development progress. In the last couple of months, we focused heavily on test-playing the current version of the game. We attended 3 events: Digital Dragons (where we won 2 awards), CD-Action Expo and Indigo Showcase. Seeing so many people enjoying Paul Trilby’s quest so far was amazing!
During these events, we received so much valuable player feedback and insights on how to improve the story and the gameplay flow, so we have been mainly working on improving both. Unfortunately this meant that we couldn’t make our initial Q2 deadline, but we are getting there; we now aim for Q3 and we are learning a lot from this process as it is our debut title. The upcoming months will be filled with more testing, improving the (already awesome) sound and voiceover effects by Jorick and Giliam (Driftwood Audio), adding some more beautiful music scores from Victor Butzelaar, and finalizing achievements and translations. We aim to showcase our best possible build at Gamescom at the end of August. Around that time we also hope to be ready to finally share a release date with you all. Thanks a lot for your patience and support, before you know you can finally put your Trilby hat on!
