Hi everyone!
It’s Patrik – solo developer behind Backrooms Media. First off, thank you so much for buying the game and for leaving your reviews – both the good and the bad! I’ve been reading all of them, and I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I'm working on improving the game, so I wanted to let you know what's going on!
🐛 Bug fixes
I’ve already started working on some of the issues that came up. Here’s a quick list of what’s been fixed so far:
- Realistic Camera Movement is now turned off by default.
- Fixed an issue where players could hear each other’s audio.
- Resolved an issue where camera shaking occurred when other players were running in Normal mode.
📝 Report your bugs!
There’s now a special thread on the Steam forums where you can report any bugs you come across. Your reports are super helpful, and the more detail you provide, the faster I can work on making things better! You can find the thread here.
🔦 New level and more fixes coming tomorrow
Tomorrow, around 12:00 PM UTC, you can expect a new level! I really hope you’ll enjoy it. It brings some fresh gameplay elements that I think you’ll have fun with, and I can’t wait to hear what you think once it’s live! Also, there'll be more fixes in tomorrow's update:
- A NEW LEVEL will be added.
- Italian and Polish language support will be added.
- Stamina Buff: Your stamina will regenerate much faster, and you will have more of it overall.
- Infinite Stamina will be enabled when playing on Peaceful mode.
- The Lobby Creation Timeout will be extended, which should help resolve some connection issues.
- The Lobby Difficulty description will update correctly.
- Player Camera Rotation Lag will only apply when using the Realistic camera setting.
