This is not just an update; it's the crowning jewel of our adventures, polishing every pixel to sheer perfection. Ready your wits and weapons, for this is where legends are forged.
✨ What’s New:
- PixPix, the Riddle Maiden: Tucked away in Level 4, PixPix awaits with a smirk and a puzzle. Solve her cunning riddle—can you unlock the secrets she guards so playfully?
- Gallery Glamour Enhanced: We’ve added sound to our gallery! Press 'M' on the keyboard or 'X' on the controller to bring scenes to life. For a truly immersive experience, enter fullscreen mode with 'Space' or 'Y' on your gamepad.
🛠️ Gameplay Enhancements:
- Retro Controls Refined: Curious about controls? Hold 'Left Shoulder Button' or 'I' on the keyboard to reveal the key overlay, guiding your every move.
- Optimized for All Screens: Larger texts and refreshed key overlays ensure clarity and readability across all devices, including the Steam Deck. No squinting required here!
- New Achievement - 'The Quickest Shot in the West': Think you're fast? Prove it by skipping a cutscene faster than a shooting star!
🎭 Major Character Reworks:
- Ravishingly Reworked Characters: Gloopie, Flapette, Ember, Lazure, Slithersweet, and Webbywink dazzle anew with stunning, handcrafted visuals. They're not just redrawn; they're reimagined to enchant you anew.
- Ectobreast's Grand Entrance: What was once a tutorial teaser is now a full-fledged foe! Ectobreast now reigns over Level 1, captivating all who dare challenge her with her own exclusive cutscene.
- Extra Frames for the Monster Queen's Cutscene: Enjoy a more fluid and dynamic experience with newly added frames, bringing the Monster Queen's cutscene to life like never before.
🔧 Technical Tweaks:
- Inventory and Menu Magic: Streamlined displays enhance your interaction, making it as smooth as the potions you brew.
- Sold Out Sophistication: 'Adventurer's Delight' will now mark itself sold out after three purchases—because some treasures are meant to be rare.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- Invisibility Potion Polished: No more lingering effects after leaving Level 8; what happens in the dungeon, stays in the dungeon.
- Controller Conundrums Cleared: Numerous improvements ensure that your journey through menus is as smooth as your dungeon crawling.
- Fixed Cutscene for Timbera: Enjoy a seamless narrative with the now fully operational cutscene for Timbera.
Celebrate the climax of our shared escapades with Patch 1.2, a masterpiece of craft and cunning, beauty, and battle. This is where your mettle is tested, your courage confirmed, and your desires delighted.
Happy Delving, Adventurer! And remember—within these dungeon walls, temptation is not just a part of the treasure; it’s a promise of the pleasures to come.
A Personal Thank You:
As we release Patch 1.2: The Dungeon's Definitive Delight, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your enthusiasm, bug reports, feedback, and occasional hilarious memes have been the driving force behind every update. Without your sharp eyes and wit, we might still be wondering why Ectobreast was lighting up the dungeon.
This final content patch is a labor of love, designed to enhance your adventures and challenge your skills. While this may be the last major content update, I will continue to squash bugs and ensure your experience remains smoother than Gloopie's new animation.
And this isn't the end—there's more in the works. While it will take some time to bring these projects to life, you can look forward to a spin-off game later this year and another adventure in the same universe possibly next year. Exciting times are ahead!
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means the world to me.
Happy delving & warm regards,
