Hello! Patch mainly features being able to put products on sale and corrected shopping lists. System is fresh and still has flaws so suggestions are welcomed for its improvement. Feel free to also suggest more shopping list variations.
Changelog:
- Implemented a first iteration for putting products on sale. Players can use the new tablet and labels in the manager’s blackboard to set daily sales. Customers will have a chance to add an item on sale to their shopping list depending on the set discount and the base product’s price, so p.e. an expensive electronic item on sale shouldn’t get that much success compared to a basic good.
- Added 3 new perks in the upgrade’s blackboard which increase allowed amount of daily products on sale.
- Implemented the chance of compensated shopping lists for customers. Note plenty of them will still restrict themselves to their usual behaviour. Examples of implemented shopping lists are:
* Party: will buy drinks, alcohol and snacks.
* Customers in a hurry which will only buy food like some quick sushi and some drinks.
* Some will restrict themselves to gardening, cheap electronics, filling a medkit with pharmacy products or needing baby products.
* There’s a very rare chance of unique customers like toilet paper hoarders or the only-buying-salt guy.
For example, a young person will have bigger chances to buy snacks and alcohol for a party than an aged one, which may be looking for basics. Compensated shopping lists are more apparent as an store progresses.
- Related to camera’s minigame, customers getting in line of sight of the being-analyzed person shouldn’t reset the current progress.
- Sliced bread has been re-textured to match the same shader as other products. This is a pre-step for future product optimizations.
- Copying game’s logs is now done a bit diferently due to some players reporting its malfunction in some cases. Main button now divides into primary logs and secondary logs.
- TVs and CCTV cameras can now be placed in almost any surface including paintable wall modules.
- Fixed an issue in which replacing one product with another on a shelf wouldn’t update the corresponding price label.
