With this video, we’re releasing an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the development of our Hamburg Akkulok AL1 Vehicle DLC for SubwaySim 2.
The release of the Akkulok is already a little while ago, so it’s the perfect time to show how this vehicle was created and what went into bringing it to life.
Max, our CEO, travelled to Hamburg together with the team to record original audio and video of the AL1. In this behind-the-scenes feature, you’ll see how we work with real vehicles, how we capture sounds, and how these recordings gradually transform into an authentic DLC.
For anyone interested in urban rail, realistic simulation work, or the development process behind new vehicles, this video offers a detailed insight into our workflow.
We hope you enjoy watching and look forward to sharing more content and insights about SubwaySim 2: Hamburg in the future.
