Playtesting
We're thrilled by the response to our first Playtest! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shown interest. For those participating, and even if you're not, we invite you to join our Discord server, where we can share in the excitement and gather your valuable feedback.
To express our gratitude, we're offering an Early Access Key Giveaway (on release) to the first 10 Playtest participants who complete a testing survey (link in Discord) and DM a developer on Discord! Your insights are crucial in shaping the future of Disc Dimension, and we want to reward your contributions.
Invitations will continue to be rolled out in waves for a structured playtesting phase lasting a few weeks (exact end date to be announced). We'll continually enhance and expand the content during this period based on your feedback.
Upcoming Content Updates
Teleport Movement Support
We will be adding a Teleport style free-movement as an alternative to Smooth movement to help those with VR movement sensitivity.
Left Handed Support
We had a few kinks to work out with left-handed play, which will be rolled out soon. Apologies to our left-handers, but rest assured we have you covered.
New Holes & Hazards
As we add additional holes to the Elder Forest during the Playtest, we will introduce new magical hazards and challenges.
Disc Collections
Unearth a variety of discs and curate a collection that matches your style!
Upcoming Development Roadmap
In addition to rolling out new content, we will be developing brand-new features. Here's a look at some things we're working on:
Training Hill
Master the basics, gain advanced insights, and refine your form at the Training Hill. Receive instant feedback to elevate your disc golf skills.
New Course ???
Something exciting is brewing in the Disc Dimension – a mysterious new place awaits exploration. You might want to bring some fire-resistant boots…
Multiplayer
We're currently designing a multiplayer experience, and your input is invaluable. Share your thoughts in the community about what you envision in a multiplayer VR sports game, especially in Disc Dimension.
Early Access Launch
Sometime in the next few months, we will be launching Early Access. The exact date will depend on feedback during the ongoing Playtest. When Early Access launches, the game will be available to purchase, and we will continue to add content for the full release. There will be Playtests in the future which you can sign up for in addition to owning the Early Access title. Look for more announcements about Early Access in the coming weeks!
Thank you for being part of this exciting journey. Your enthusiasm and support fuel our commitment to deliver an extraordinary disc golf experience. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to dive deeper into the world of Disc Dimension!
Best regards,
