Below is a detailed breakdown of all enhancements and fixes included in this update.
View game page⚙ Optimization & Performance Enhancements
General Optimizations
Global texture improvements to reduce VRAM usage.
Optimized vehicle spawn and driving mechanics to minimize FPS spikes.
Fixed animation-related issues that could lead to FPS drops.
Minor performance optimizations applied to the minimap.
Network & System Performance
Network optimization implemented for Garden, Roof, Wallpaper, Cargo, and Trailer systems.
Performance-impacting issues for these elements were resolved to prevent resource loss.
NPC Optimization
NPC tasks and box search algorithms have been improved to prevent potential FPS increases.
Fixed issues causing FPS drops during door and staircase traversal.
Other Optimizations
Resolved a Planner-related issue that caused FPS drops when reopening planning mode.
Various non-specific minor optimizations and refinements were applied.
We have integrated internal monitoring tools to track game performance and system health. Using these tools -alongside your valuable feedback- we will continue to observe, optimize, and improve the overall experience.
👷♂️ NPC Worker Improvements & Fixes
Cement & Sand Pouring (1-Star Workers) Fixed an issue where 1-star NPC Workers played the pouring animation without actually dispensing materials.
Painting Progress Stuck at 20% NPC Workers could get stuck at 20% wall painting progress during build missions. This has been resolved.
Task Prioritization in Demolition Missions NPC Workers incorrectly prioritized wall demolition before trash removal or furniture handling. Task flow now follows a more logical sequence.
Installing Broken/Damaged Hardware NPC Workers will no longer place damaged or broken hardware during build missions.
Cargo Point Distance Issue NPC Workers would not start working if the construction site was far from the cargo point unless manually reset by the player. This has been fixed.
Unable to Remove Hardware During Demolition Fixed an issue where workers couldn't remove hardware (e.g., doors/windows) unless the wall was already demolished, causing them to glitch around the container.
Workers Getting Stuck on Upper Floors Addressed a pathfinding issue where NPC Workers would get stuck in central areas on upper floors even after being reset.
Workers Getting Stuck on Stairs Improved stair navigation while carrying material boxes to prevent workers from getting stuck.
Box Collision Issues Workers could get stuck behind boxes near doorways and narrow areas. Box-related collision interactions have been optimized to aid smoother navigation.
Doors Not Removed In some cases, NPC Workers were not removing doors while demolishing. This has been fixed.
NPC Package Drop Location Adjustment NPCs now drop packages around the finish sign instead of leaving them at their current position after collecting furniture.
Cement Duplication Fix After Final Reinforcement Resolved the issue where an extra cement item was created after the last floor reinforcement.
Incorrect Worker Status Label Corrected The worker info previously displayed as “take out furniture” is now correctly shown as “working”.
While testing these issues, we noticed that an NPC Worker climbed onto the roof by itself! This shouldn't normally happen, so we wanted to share this interesting situation with you... What do you think he's doing there? 👀
🎬 Visual & Animation Fixes
Missing Trash Bag Visual NPC Workers did not display trash bags while performing trash collection tasks. The correct visual asset is now shown regardless of worker level.
LOD Issue on Office Worker Cabinets Fixed Level of Detail inconsistencies for the final upgrade stage of NPC Worker cabinets in the first office.
Wall Textures Disappearing on Low Graphics Settings Resolved an issue where wall textures would vanish when entering buildings during harbor cargo missions on very low settings.
Wallboard & Wallpaper Floating in the Air When buildings with installed wallboard/wallpaper were sold, repurchased, deeded, and progressed, the materials remained floating. This visual inconsistency has been fixed.
💾 Save / Load Fixes
Incorrect NPC Worker Star Level After Reload Fixed an issue where NPC Workers could lose or gain star levels when saving during active tasks.
NPC Worker Names Displayed as "Null" (Client-Side) After loading, client players would sometimes see worker names as "Null". This has been resolved.
Repeated DLC Mission Emails DLC-related mission emails were resent after saving/loading the game. This no longer occurs.
💸 Game Economy Fixes
Infinite Loan Loop for NPC Wage Payments If the player had insufficient funds, the system could take multiple loans exceeding the intended cap of 20. This exploit has been fixed to preserve game balance.
🔧 Additional Fixes & Improvements
Fixed an issue where broken/damaged supply boxes reverted back to “new” status after aborting decoration tasks.
"Claim Rewards" in Go Green Milestone now correctly delivers skins, trophy cabinets, statues, and gemstones to the office cargo point.
🏁 Final Notes
This update focuses on improving AI reliability, task logic, visual fidelity, and game performance, ensuring a smoother and more immersive ContractVille experience. We are planning another performance and bugfix update like this one in the near future.
