I found this to be very informative for our community and new players asking if the game is full of bugs and completely broken, so here is my answer:
I don't really see the bugs, people keep complaining but if we see the bugtracker there is only like 2 unique bugs that have been reported about 1000 times or so. It kinda gives the illusion its all broken, when its not.
Also the most reported bug is regarding vertex buffer, which actually is not even a bug but just a crash message which is caused by low end laptop GPU's that run out of memory and cannot draw more triangles.
So no, the game is not broken and its not full of bugs. Every bug reported has been addressed, there is atleast 1 that is really nasty and we still haven't found a pattern for it in order to get to fix it. Fixing bugs is not a simple thing, even tho people say it is.
Fixing a bug with a clear pattern, say a spell not doing damage its easy because you know where to look for it and you prolly reproduce it 100% of the time.
Fixing a bug say for instance that Relics sometimes dissapear from saves etc, we never experienced this our selves so there is no linear pattern to follow. If we cannot reproduce the bug, its really hard to fix because we dont know where the error is. Either its a broken function in game maker, either its a malfunctioning PHP scripts, either its in the actual game code, or its in the loading or saving or something.
There are also multiplayer bugs that are really hard to fix because we are not entirely sure why they happen, there is so many factors on that area because of latency/ping causing packets to not go thru etc.
We have been working every day for the past 2 years on this game, fixing bugs and adding content. It's pretty lame and disrespectful to call us lazy and bad devs, because lazy we are not and bad not so much. People who keep calling us out for that, don't know ANYTHING about making games.
Oh and people crying about not enough mana to cast spells should reset their talents and put as many points as their mana lets them use, you can get a ton of mana with good items so it actually requires a bit of attention now. My nomad has around 600,000 mana and has absolutely no problems spamming spells non-stop. So please, get with the times and use your brains and enjoy the game rather than nitpick and complain over nothing.
