Howdy outlaws!
Two years ago, we had the idea of a deckbuilding card game set in the wild west. A lot of tears, sweat, and what feels like 1000 meetings later, it is finally time to open the gates to the frontier!

.Forty-five was developed as a diploma thesis by 5 students from the Higher Technical School "HTL Rennweg" in Vienna, Austria. Now that the diploma thesis is complete, we can finally release our game.
Please note that the game is not 100% finished yet and that we would like to rework some aspects of the game that don’t work well yet. However, we still wanted to release, mainly to gather usefull feedback.
What's next?
For us, this launch is just the beginning. We've got a lot of things planned and we are thrilled to share them with you. So, keep your eyes peeled for the first issue of the ".Forty-Five Bullet-in", where we share insights on the future of the game.
It will include a developer blog, behind-the-scenes content, updates on what we're working on, and other information.
If, however, you are tired of waiting for us to release the next update and you perhaps have some coding skills, I have good news:
Open Source:
Yes, thats right! The source code of .Forty-Five is public under the GPLv3 license. That means that anyone is free to view and share the code of the game. Also, everyone can make their own modified versions of our game and redistribute it, as long as they maintain the GPLv3.0 license. Contributions are also welcome!
Beware of ugly code tho :>
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us along the way <3. It's incredible to finally see our project released to the public, and we are looking forward to everyone's thoughts and feedback!
