Hello SnB Monsters enthusiasts!
I will try to make a habit of announcing here the changes I bring to the DEMO (before releasing it here on steam), as well as when I move on and start working on the full game!
First I would like to thank the people that wishlisted and game and put their trust in me that I will provide a quality and fun product! As well as thank some of the people helping me with the project, more of that in the end of this post.
Visuals
- New Sprite for the first enemy, also added some puddles for it! Just testing it out so please let me know what you think here or in our Discord Server!
Here is the little guy:
Bug Fixes
- Fixed buttons staying green despite you buying it out.
- Fixed Social media buttons showing on every pop up menu after you beat the game
- Hopefully fixed a bug that upscales enemies before the boss shows up, causing slowdowns (and looking ugly)
Performance
- Added Memory Trash Collection, your PC will now start forgetting the first enemies you encounter, freeing memory and making performance better on the late game.
Thanks
-Thank YOU for being in this journey with me!
-Thank you @OPnewPlayer for making that enemy sprite. Along with this, he came up with the idea of making the enemies "bounce" when they are hit, and the (currently in testing) ooze particle! Overall he's been a good aly for the game and definitely deserves some thanks in the credits.
-And even more deserving of this thanking note, I'd also like to thank @andrepelaesdavid for helping come up with the new UI design, that also made it look A LOT better and more professional, and thank @CorporateFilth for drawing it!
-Thank you to my brother Thiago for making the music for the game.
If I didn't have the help of all this talented artists the game would probably not be able to become what I'm hoping it someday will.
