Hello Witches!
Witchspire has been out in Early Access for just over a week, and we want to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who has stepped into the world so far.
Whether you’ve been adventuring solo or building your Sanctuary with friends, it has been incredible seeing you finally experience Witchspire for yourselves. We’re also amazed seeing some of you creating Nexus Mods too!
Early Access is only the beginning of the journey, and we've been taking in all your feedback, watching your streams, checking in on Steam Forums, socials and Discord. We’ve already put out 7 patches so far and are working hard to improve the immediate state of the game.
Our eyes are also looking ahead though! We are live *right now* (as of this post going live) to reveal and talk through the Early Access roadmap. We’ll be answering your questions directly, talking about the game and sneak peaking what is to come!
TUNE IN HERE: View game page
Major Update #1 - A Touch of Magic
Our first major update will focus on improving and expanding some of the core systems that you already have your hands on. A Touch of Magic will include:
Weapon Crafting 2.0
Salvaging
Emotes & Familiar Wheel
New Building Set
New Familiars & More
We want this update to give players more ways to shape their witch, improve their gear, express themselves, and make their Sanctuaries their own!
Major Update #2: The Frozen Tundra
After that, we’ll be heading somewhere much, much colder.
The Frozen Tundra will be our second major update and will expand the lands of Witchspire, bringing new systems, new places to explore, and the next chapter of the adventure.
This update will include:
Alchemy 2.0
Compendium & Bestiary
New Biome & Act III
A New Weapon Type
New Familiars
New Endgame Content
We’re especially excited for players to discover the new biome, continue the story, and start digging deeper into Witchspire’s world, creatures, and long-term progression.
2027 & Beyond - Throne of Corruption
And beyond that…something darker is waiting. We’re not ready to reveal everything just yet, but Throne of Corruption focuses on endgame storyline content for Witchspire as we continue building on the world, it’s mysterious and the corruption spreading across the land.
More details will come in the future!
Ongoing Support
It almost goes without saying, but alongside these major updates, Witchspire will continue receiving ongoing support through Early Access. That means bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, balance changes, and performance optimizations all shaped by your feedback. We want to stay flexible, listen to the community and make the best decisions for the game as Witchspire grows.
So again, thank you for making launch week so special. We’re excited to keep building Witchspire with you.
Please keep sharing your feedback and your familiars in our Discord and the Steam Forums.
Thank you for supporting our journey in Early Access.
