Hello fellow french fry enthusiasts,
hope you all had great holidays and didn't overeat and overdrink. (like me)
Update 6 took me a bit longer, because I was busy remaking the entire production from scratch.
Important: Because everything was redone, your production levels have been reset. For gold that's not really an issue, but it applies also to purpstige, purplematter and essence extractors. You do keep the essence you already have and everything else.
All production screens have ben redesigned.
The feeding page now has buttons with which you can go to each production page. Each resource has it's own page now. You can see a silhouette of a character there. At later updates I will add a different datable character to each page. Dating them brings a discount to your gold upgrades.
Production cost
Gold, Purpstige, Purple Matter and Globblopper costs are now logarithmic instead of exponential. This is the biggest change. In short, before this update the values were multiplying themselves, now they don't.
For example:
level 50 beef - 1.751mil(new) - 117mil(old)
With the old calculations, upgrading beef to level 50 means you need to spend 117 million gold on level 50. Now it's 1.751 million for level 50. The progress is smooth now.
This change will also come to the kitchen and the merch store next update. For now it's only production.
Globbloppers
Added 4 kinds of Globbloppers to the game. Each is unique in it's own way and requires a hefty amount of essence for production. You can then spend them on permanent production upgrades. Each upgrade gives 250 resource per second. It's a lot, but Globbloppers are also expensive. This way, people could focus on wheat with the new resource for example and mitigate the high wheat demand.
Essence extractors
The extractors now all start at level 1 and have a start and stop button. The extractors now do not cost raw resources to upgrade, only prepstige, but they do consume raw resource per second. That's why the start-stop button, so you can control your production better. The prepstige cost has also been reworked to scale properly.
Various other changes:
Added backgrounds to all pages.
Moved prepstige to yukaris page.
Rearranged most buttons.
Changed some resource colors, so things are more clear.
I have a lot more on my to-do list, but this is it for now. Hope you enjoy the new changes.
Have fun and thanks for playing!
