A fresh update has landed into the timeline! ⏱️
We're super excited to introduce our new Sandbox playground alongside a massive round of QoL tweaks, physics fixes, and visual enhancements.
Here is what’s new in this update:
🔫 Sandbox Mode: AgentUnknown's Playgrounds – Dive into two brand new rooms: Rocket Science and If Everyone Jumped Off a Bridge….
There are no puzzle objectives or time pressure, so you can just mess around with time loops and replicas as much as you want!
(Okay, full disclosure: there technically IS a timer running under the hood, but it's super long and hidden. We promise you won't notice it... hopefully! 🤫)
We'll keep adding more sandbox rooms based on your feedback and bug reports, so test the limits and tell us what you want to see next!
⚙️ UI and Settings:
First-Launch Settings Window – New players (which probably isn't you since you're reading patch notes) will now get a setup window upon launching the game for the first time, making it easy to configure all VR options to your liking right away.
Menu Overhaul – Reorganized settings with simplified titles so navigating the menus is much more intuitive.
Haptics Toggle – Added a dedicated option to disable controller haptics in the settings menu.
🧲 Interaction & Physics Fixes:
Fixed battery holder handle interaction desyncs.
Hands of past-you no longer resize during gestures, and items should no longer levitate in hands (they shouldn't anymore, let us know if your items are still attempting ascension).
Fixed a bug on "Run the Gauntlet" where turrets would stop shooting if you got too close to them.
🎨 Visual Polish, Many Bugfixes & Graphics Enhancements.
NOTE |
|---|
During testing, we stumbled upon a wild bug on one device where the player spawned into the main menu completely upside down. We haven't been able to reproduce it on any other hardware so far. If the time loop flips your perspective and leaves you standing on your head in the menu, a game restart will temporarily fix it and get you right-side up! Please let us know right away in the comments, Steam Discussions or on Discord if you run into this so we can hunt it down! 🦇 |
NOTE #2 |

Unlucky Unlooper Achievement – diving in to investigate what's going on. Thanks for the heads-up! 🔍 |
As always, drop your impressions, wild ideas and any fresh bugs you stumble across in the discussions! Now back to work we go to keep making UnLoop even better. 🔄🔥
