Greetings, esteemed collaborators!
Sometimes we have to halt the reaping of souls a little to work on some PR with all of you living souls. And that usually means attending "live" events. So, let's talk Gamescom Latam 2025 and a couple of other public appearances.
Yes, we'll be participating in Gamescom Latam for the second year in a row. But if that wasn't cool enough, this time our participation comes with a plus:
We are among the nominees for the "Best Brazilian Game" award!
So yet again, we have been selected along with a couple of awesome games as nominees for this incredible prize. Because of that, we will once again have a new and updated version playable on-site during the event, with members of our Upper Management present to bribe you with goodies! Some cool graphic design material will be available for corporate bribes, I mean, promotion. So please make sure to meet us and get yours (if event management asks, it is totally not a bribe to vote for us. Sorry, can't wink as a skeleton).
Achievement Unlocked: Two years in a row competing for votes
As part of our presence at Gamescom LATAM, being nominees and all, not only are we being evaluated by a judging committee, but also by all you living souls attending there! There's a thing called "Public Vote for best game" and I'm told we may have a chance if we promise to reap you last. Please don't forget to vote for us if you like our experience. I'm told that our voting performance will be used to evaluate my promotion request, and I really want to be a Senior Intern.
What else can you expect at the event?
Besides basic bribery and flattery for votes, in our new and improved Demo, you will find:
- New Boons
- New Stages
- New enemies to reap
- New undying loyalty to your company
And to prove we are not lying to you like certain companies do, we actually attended a couple live events in the past few months and showed them the new experiences. Why we didn't warn you in advance? Well... funny you should ask. Inhuman Resources asked me the same thing, and all I can think about is the fact I was kinda overworked and forgot to post about them, sorry. They demanded me to compensate you all with extra puns whenever requested at Gamescom.
Now look at some cool pics of our presence at those events:
Yes, I'm aware we're in dire need of an actual photographer. But if they can't pay me, do you think they can pay a professional?!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
We have an exclusive online event just for you (yes you)!
Would you like to play an exclusive preview of the Gamescom Build in all its glory?
I know you do, so here's how you can do it:
We will be hosting our second "Live-support" event, also known as "unpaid labor day", on the last Friday of April.
This means that on the 25th of April we will have Gamescom Latam's build exclusively available for our Discord server members. And you can be one of the lucky few as well, just join us there and chat with us a little (we don't reap). That means that even if you can't be present at Gamescom, you can play it (even earlier than most living souls).
On that day, not only will the build be available, we will also be present there all day long to give you technical and moral support. As well as create event-specific quests that, if completed, will reward you with everlasting glory, and us with everlasting feedback and bug-hunting. So don't miss that opportunity, join us and get yourself an exclusive preview!
For more info on the event, check our "announcements" channel on Discord for all relevant details.
Last but not least, as you probably have noticed from this announcement and our store page, we have a brand-new look! This is our first step towards the "final phase" before release. We'll have more on that in the next couple of weeks/months/years (or as soon as I can catch a break, really), so stay tuned for upcoming announcements!
That’s it for this update. Be sure to check out our social media for the latest news and sneak peeks on the game and (probably) on-site updates about our team's presence at Gamescom Latam 2025. Thanks for reading and keep on living (until we come to collect)!
