Greetings, Headmasters! 🧙♂️
A new hotfix is now available for Wizdom Academy!
This update focuses on construction rules, buildable areas, teacher behavior, doors, world map improvements, UI polish, bug reporting tools, and several smaller fixes following the latest updates.
Shimmer stone, the desert map, is now selectable as a starting map for a new game.
A new setting has been added to invert the mouse buttons used to rotate and move the camera.
A new in-game bug report panel has been added to the Settings menu.
The bug report panel now gives easier access to the studio Discord, the save folder, and the log file to help players report issues.
Ruins now display a visual indicator when Glyphite storage is full, making it clearer why extraction is paused.
The Headmaster’s Board now animates the Satisfaction and Directorium Trust gauges when opened.
Buildable areas have been adjusted across maps to feel fairer and more readable.
Non-buildable margins around rocks and crystals have been reduced.
The Mana Tree no longer stacks multiple construction restrictions around itself.
Ruins no longer incorrectly apply construction restrictions around them.
The teleportation portal arrival zone is now properly protected from construction, even before the portal is activated.
Mana Fountain placement has been improved and should now work correctly across all tested maps.
Construction hammer animations have been adjusted so only a few hammers strike at the same time, creating a more natural construction rhythm.
World map shortcut icons now use new visual foundations, preparing them for future visual polish.
Reward icons at the end of classes have been updated:
Magical Self Defense and Stratamagia now correctly display Prestige.
Dark Magic now correctly displays Golem Fragments.
Old WizPower crossed-sword icons have been removed from these rewards.
Several UI fixes and text readability improvements have been made across the game.
Text overflow has been reviewed across the 13 supported languages, especially for longer German and Spanish labels.
Construction on water or forbidden areas could become possible from the second floor onward. This has been corrected.
The Mana Fountain could be blocked on some maps because of conflicting placement protection systems.
Teachers could sometimes become locked outside their own classroom after a class ended while they were going to sleep.
Teacher dormitory beds could remain permanently occupied by absent teachers in this situation.
Existing affected saves should now repair themselves properly: blocked teachers resume teaching, and the Teacher Dormitory panel displays the correct number of sleeping teachers.
Doors now correctly replay their opening animation after certain construction changes, such as destroying an adjacent corridor.
Fixed several UI issues related to the Headmaster’s Board, world map shortcuts, settings, and text display.
Additional minor construction, map, room, and interface issues have been cleaned up.
Hotfix 0.6.4 focuses on improving construction reliability, fixing an important teacher behavior issue, and polishing several UI and world map elements.
Thank you for your feedback and bug reports.
See you soon, Headmasters!
