Hello friends,
We are already halfway through the year and we want to show you some of the things we've been working on. Rest assured these dolls are going to see the light of day.
Game Modes
First, I want to talk to you about game modes. It's easy to see that we have taken inspiration from games like Vampire Survivors, but we've taken the genre in our own way and we hope to reflect it in our game modes. For the moment these are:
- Seek and Destroy: In this game mode, you have to scout the map to find enemy spawners, then stay within range to destroy them.
- Defense: In this game mode, you'll have to defend a crystal in the center of the map. You'll have to survive at least 5 waves.
- Survival: The flagship mode for this genre, here you'll have to survive at least 5 minutes.
- Rescue: In this game mode, you'll have to locate one of the trapped Dodollies on the map and bring them to safety.
- Boss: As the name suggests, here you'll be facing the boss of the world you are in, but not before enduring some waves of enemies.
Abilities
When it comes to abilities that you'll be unlocking during your playthrough and getting their cards on the levels, some of them are:
- Flower Shield: It will block any incoming damage.
- Dodolly Punches: Invisible punches that only the Dodolly can see, which will punch and push away any enemies.
- Bursting Demise: An explosion that will happen whenever an enemy dies near you.
- Friend Ladybug: A ladybug friend that will shoot magic towards any nearby enemy.
And many, many more...
Player Progression
While you play the game, you will be unlocking characters called Dodollies. These Dodollies will come with unique abilities and attributes.
Along with the possibility of unlocking them, you'll also be able to level them up in the "stitch and stuff" option of the game. Here, for the cost of some essence, you'll make them stronger and you'll get level points that can be used to upgrade any of their unique abilities.
But this is not all! If you want to see more we are always making videos showing off progress these
On this we show our newest Dodolly and some reworked visual elements.
Aaaand here we talked about our gamemodes we previously mentioned, our first boss and show off some of the abilities we have created.
