I'll be honest: October was kinda bananas. I spoke at 5 different events last month across Melbourne and Bangkok. I got to meet so many people -- it was healing, it was tiring, and it made me really excited to finish the game.
As always, I can't share everything I've done, but rest assured that there's a lot of exciting things happening behind the scenes. In the meantime, here are some things I can share:
Check out the ✨ Winter Vibes ✨
I've been working on the final area of the game, creating an environment that feels both desolate yet oddly at peace. To me, there's something warming about the desaturated palette and the varied hues across the snow.
I'm wonder what kinds of NPCs you'll meet in this area?
The game got featured on PC Gamer
Here's a snippet from the PC Gamer article that covered Building Relationships at Gamescom Asia. I talked a little bit about the darkness in the game -- the game itself being a reflection of my journey out of a pretty dark place. No more details for now, you'll have to wait until the game is done to experience it firsthand.
Getting to expo our game in my hometown
Speaking of, it was so excited to get to show Building Relationships at home in Bangkok as part of Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025. Gaming had such an invisible presence as I was growing up in Bangkok, it's so heartwarming to see how much the community has grown here.
Someone left a very kind note while I was on break away from my booth and I just had to share bc it's so cute 🥺
That's all for now!
I've got to head back and lock in on making the game, but here's another screenshot from a different section of the wintery area:
