Welcome to the GameGuru weekly news. We are now very close to the release of the latest update and you can read all about our progress below.
As always you can read what's new in the GameGuru Store and we'll take a look at some of the great work from the user galleries.
We also spotted this WIP thread from developer Nuncio which has really impressed us with the quality of work and amazing progress made. It's great to see some of the games being developed and we will be watching this one carefully.
So, let's take a look at what's been happening in the world of GameGuru...
From the Galleries
We are always keeping an eye of the galleries and are constantly inspired by the amazing work our community produces. We felt that these recent uploads really stood out and show a real change of genre from the modern day themes we often see.

Store News
As the store goes from strength to strength, we're always pleased to see the diverse range of uploads from our very talented artists. We're taking a look at a new upload this week as well as a reminder of a high quality model pack. Recent uploads bring the current total to 4,928 items available on the GameGuru Store for sale or for free, so we'll soon be pushing past the 5,000 mark!
This great Crane Pack by artist Nomis3D features 8 crane variations and will help bring any modern day or construction level to life.
We're also looking back at the excellent Arcade Pack from artist ErrantAI.

This pack includes a large number of 1980's themed retro arcade cabinets and is a worthy addition to any serious developers library.

Signing off
We are now very close to our next release and are in the final rounds of testing. All being well users should see a new version in the next few days.
After the release of this V1.003 we will turn our focus to performance work. We have a clear strategy on how to optimise the engine and are confident that this work will open to way for a lot of new and exciting feature additions in the months to come.
So, until next week, good luck with your developments and as always, thank you all for your amazing support.
