Howdy folks! Happy Friday! Don your boots and ten gallon hats. This planet ain't big enough for the both of us! Yeehaw!
Closed alpha playtesting continues, and we'd love to have you join us! See our Discord for how to get involved!
View game pageLast time, I showed you all OUR NEW STEAM PAGE! Check it out if you haven't seen it already!
This week, I'm catching you up on all the content I've not been telling you about because we've been too busy showing off our Steam page.
Also we're cowboy themed today. You'll find out why in a couple of seconds.
Revolutionary Revolverator Revolves Rapidly. Results? Resoundingly Relentless Retribution!
We've wanted a part just like this for a loooong time now. In the past, we'd jury rig something up with a mix of switches and hotkeys to get it to work. It'd be clunky, and a little micro intensive.
Lilith has made all of that a thing of a past. It's easier if I just show you what it does.
Firepower has never been so handy.
The Revolverator part family allows you to hook one socket up to your arm, and then to quickly rotate between equipped weapons (or other components!) with the press of a button! We've got a few variants to loot variety and progression.
Nature is a beautiful thing.
And yes — you CAN stack revolverators on revolverators.
When have we gone too far?
Will wonders never cease here at Second Half Games?
Grate Expectations
We're still overhauling a lot of the art assets in game right now, prepping for a demo release soon. A key area of focus in the ship that the player wakes up in.
Things are looking good! But unfortunately we've run into a couple of collision issues — nothing major, nothing unusual for a good honest indie game studio.
I don't know if our player character would necessarily agree though...
Maybe it's time for another one of them safety briefings again?
Looking Ahead
It's been another busy week for us all, but we've got a lot done and some clear tasks coming up! Big news coming next week. Stay tuned!
