Hello, this is Icecap Opera!
The following has been updated.
・Updated store page videos and screenshots
・Updated game introduction text
The main reason for the update is to resolve the issue where it was difficult to understand the game genre and game content because the explanatory text was kept to a minimum.
"Knight Case Files" is a suspense visual novel game and multiple-choice adventure game in which male and female buddies pursue the truth of cases. However, because the illustrations are unique otome game style (aesthetic style) designs, many people misunderstood the genre based on the suspense visual novel description alone.
The concept is to create a suspense novel game with aesthetically pleasing illustrations, so there's nothing wrong with that, but for better or worse, I was more focused on the illustrations than on the story information, and ended up overlooking some information.
We have included text and game screenshots to explain that this is a classic visual novel (adventure game) where you choose options and explore the truth of the incident.
It has a unique and elaborate worldview based on the 19th century Western world. Although terms and other information were only listed on the official website, some of them are also listed on the store page.
