Feline Fortress Hotfix – Nextfest Demo (v1.1.0.2)

Hey there, Feline Fortress community!

We hope you’re enjoying the early Nextfest demo of Feline Fortress. We’re incredibly grateful for the fantastic feedback and support you’ve shown us. As a small indie team, your input is invaluable in helping us polish the game. We’ve just rolled out a hotfix to address a few key issues and make your experience even better. Here’s what’s new:

1. Removed Redundant Files
   1. Issue: Our initial build contained some redundant files, leading to a larger installation size.
   2. Fix: We’ve meticulously combed through the build and removed these unnecessary files, significantly reducing the overall size.

2. Compressed Over-sized Textures
   1. Issue: Some textures were larger than necessary, contributing to the hefty download.
   2. Fix: We’ve compressed these textures without compromising on quality, helping to streamline the game.

3. Installation Size Reduction
   1. Result: Thanks to these optimizations, the installation size has been reduced from approximately 1.25GB to just around 280MB. That’s less than a quarter of the original size!

4. Fixed Inverted Gameplay Controls Bug
   1. Issue: Some players experienced inverted gameplay controls when opening and then closing the game menu.
   2. Fix: We’ve squashed this pesky bug, ensuring that your controls remain consistent and responsive throughout your gameplay.
