Hello everyone,
We did it. We pushed the button. HexaScape is now in Early Access. Wow.
But that's not all. We want to make the game bigger and better with every update. And we want you to become part of the cyberspace, to follow our journey, to be our advisor. That's why we're offering a 10% discount on the release. The total price of the game will increase as we move towards full release, rewarding you explorers and discoverers for your early interest in the game.
What's next?
We'll be adding new features to HexaScape on a monthly basis, some of them minor, many of them major. These are some of the bigger ideas we want to work on:
- Gameplay Additions: Imagine connecting to a certain tile and it destroys a bug biome, allowing you to explore new parts of the map.
- New Game Modes: Imagine a Tetris-like game mode where you have a limited time to place your tiles - otherwise they will be placed automatically (and not to your advantage...).
- New Victory Conditions: Imagine escorting entities from your core to a target location and preventing them from coming into contact with viruses.
- Multiplayer: Imagine a two player clash mode where you place the spawners for your opponents to make life REALLY uncomfortable for them.
- New Maps: With each update, new maps will be released to showcase the new features of the game!
New tiles, new environments, new controls in the editor... You get an idea of our wish list for HexaScape, don't you? But first and foremost, we want to hear your ideas on how to improve the game!
