This is my first post on Steam about Menace from the Deep, but the occasion I'm writing about is very important to me.
The demo version of my roguelike deckbuilder set in a Lovecraftian-inspired world is gearing up for its soon release. The 4-5 months I planned for demo development turned out to be quite intense. I had to work 10-12 hours a day, but it was worth it.
As a game developer, creating games sometimes attracts me even more than playing others. There's nothing better than building your own universe, characters, and mechanics.
The only thing that can be better than the above is satisfied players.
I encourage everyone to play the Menace from the Deep demo after its release, recommend the game to friends, and add it to your wishlist. If you have any feedback or suggestions during the process, you can find contacts within the game demo to share them.
I've conducted 2 alpha tests, revealing over 80 points for improvement in the gaming experience. They have all been implemented. Soon, a third alpha test will take place. I'm doing everything necessary to make the player experience in the demo as enjoyable as possible.
But keep in mind that this is the very first playable version of the game. If you encounter any bugs, better take them with humor as funny surprises. After all, I have to handle almost everything in the game myself, except for the graphics, for which my girlfriend is providing great help. I am very grateful to her for that.
Don't miss this event, and you can also play the demo at the Steam festival early next month.
