Hey Elysians! ✨
From our Steam Daily Deal and the release of v0.18.5 to upcoming features and community events, we’ve got several exciting updates to share as we continue building Echoes of Elysium alongside our players.
We’re excited to announce Echoes of Elysium is featured in Steam's Daily Deal, giving players the chance to pick it up at 35% off throughout the coming week. This marks the largest discount the game has received to date, making it the perfect opportunity for new players to jump in and play with their friends!
With the recent improvements to progression, onboarding, performance, and overall gameplay, new players will be entering Elysium at its strongest state yet, so don’t miss out! The deal ends next Tuesday, June 16th, 2026!
The team has been focusing on one of our most important parts of Echoes of Elysium: the first few hours of your adventure. We’ve continued testing and refining the First-Time User Experience (FTUE) through resource scarcity to help create a smoother and more engaging introduction to the game. These improvements are designed to help new players better understand core gameplay systems while strengthening onboarding and early progression overall.
Development efforts have shifted towards exciting new gameplay content as mentioned in our road map. This includes the introduction of rain and dynamic weather systems that will expand survival mechanics and strategic gameplay as it introduces additional challenges, making the world feel much more alive and unpredictable than ever before.
We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for controller support. As teased in a recent steam blog, work on controller support continues to advance with significant progress made toward bringing the feature to players. The team is looking forward to sharing more details soon as it moves closer to release.
To celebrate the update, welcome new players from the Steam sale, and bring the community together, we’ll be hosting a community game night on our Discord server.
Join us for an evening of gameplay, discussion, feedback, and plenty of chaos as we explore the world together. Whether you’ve played the game or just picked up the game during the sale, everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see you there!
✨ Community Game Night will be this Friday, 6/12 at 9:00 PM ET

Our Discord is the best place to connect directly with the dev team and fellow players. It’s where you can share feedback, ask questions, and get help quickly from the community and team. We actively monitor Discord and often respond to questions or troubleshoot issues much faster there than through other channels.
More than that, the Discord is where the community comes together. We’re committed to building the game alongside our players, hosting regular community nights, gathering feedback, and sharing sneak peeks at upcoming features before they’re revealed publicly. If you want an early look at what’s coming next, this is the place to be.
In addition to the Community Game Night, we’ll be hosting a small contest!
Theme: Start a new game and capture your first chaotic moment or highlight a feature you like.

Community feedback continues to play a huge role in the development of Echoes of Elysium.
Our feedback boards are open to anyone who wants to submit suggestions, vote on ideas they’d like to see added to the game, and report bugs directly to the dev team. Whether it’s a quality-of-life improvement, a new gameplay mechanic, or an issue you’ve encountered during your adventure, your feedback helps us prioritize what matters most to the community.
We’ve already implemented numerous player-requested improvements throughout development, and we encourage everyone to take part in helping shape the future of Elysium. We can’t build this game without our players, and every piece of feedback helps us create a better experience for everyone.

As always, thank you for your continued support and for being part of the Echoes of Elysium community. We're excited for what's ahead and can't wait to share more of what we've been building and what’s still to come in the months ahead. This game wouldn’t be where it is without the community’s support.
We hope to see you at Community Game Night! Have a great week, Elysians!
