Hello everyone,
we finished the work on the translation to Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
I'll release an update to Chapter 6 with those languages on December 5th in the late afternoon/early evening, Central European timezone.
That means, it will probably be night/early morning of Dec 6th for most of you guys.
I want to run a few more tests on my test branch for this build on Friday and there will be another "thing" on Friday which I can't talk about yet. I want to combine both events.
Setting up the translation was quite a lot of work. As of now, the game consists of more than 190000 words so my translator had a lot of work to do, and the game itself wasn't really set up to support different languages, despite having French as a second language.
Adding Chinese is a pretty high financial risk for me because it was a good chunk of my income up until now and it will cost me in the future too.
I hope it will be worth it.
As a side note, the beta is going pretty well and I don't see anything that could put a release on Dec 19th at risk.
Cheers,
Ceo
