Hey Data Rebels!
Welcome to the first Byte Breach Status. We're here to share some of the cool stuff we've been working on and give you a sneak peek into the wild world of Byte Breach. Byte Breach is developed by just two passionate individuals. Ready to dive in?
What is Byte Breach?
Welcome to Byte Breach, a co-op survival-horror game set in a dystopian future ruled by AI overlords. As a brave data rebel, your mission is to infiltrate high-security AI fortresses, steal valuable data, and disrupt the digital tyranny. Byte Breach combines strategic planning, teamwork, and clever tactics with a spooky twist, blending intense heists with nerve-wracking horror. Think of it as navigating a haunted maze where your greatest enemy is an all-seeing, all-knowing AI system.
Recent Developments
We’re still in the early stages, but we’ve got some awesome (and a little rough around the edges) features to show you. Check out these sneak peeks:
Spider Crawling
Meet our spider-like enemy, still learning to navigate like a pro. Our procedural animation and navigation system is coming together, and it’s looking pretty creepy.
Wheel Locomotion
Say hello to the "Death Wheel." This early footage shows its unique movement mechanics. It’s not rolling smoothly yet, but it’s getting there!
Specter Patrol
Watch our Specter drones patrol their environments like they own the place. This early look shows off their navigation skills in complex spaces.
Data Collection
Data collection is the name of the game. Here’s a raw look at how you’ll extract and secure information. It’s still very-very rough, but you get the idea.
Capsules Traveling
Traveling between the digital and real worlds is a key mechanic. Check out this early footage showing how you’ll zip between realities.
Procedural Levels
Every mission is a new adventure thanks to our procedural level generation.
