Salvete, Governors!
I have an important update regarding the release of Pompeii: The Legacy.
Originally planned for September 16th, the Early Access launch will now take place one week later, on September 23rd.
The reason behind this small delay is simple: I want to give Pompeii: The Legacy the best possible start. Since Anno 117 demo is available until September 16th, I decided to shift the release just slightly to avoid overlapping and ensure players can give Pompeii their proper attention. I also want players to fully enjoy the Anno demo in peace, and then, once they’re done, return to rebuild and save Pompeii.
This doesn’t change the game’s state, the build is nearly ready, and the extra days will only help polish, test, and prepare everything for release.
Here’s a small preview of what awaits you in Early Access:
🔹 Rebuilding the city from the ashes of Vesuvius
🔹 Managing families and politics across generations
🔹 Complex production chains, from clay and charcoal to bread and wine
🔹 Stories of survival and legacy as your family faces the trials of the Empire
See you on September 23rd!
Thank you all so much for your patience and incredible support over this journey. Just a few more days, and you’ll be able to shape the fate of Pompeii yourself.
