Development Update
A lot has happened since the game was announced. Besides adding lots more content, a new class, the Blademancer, has been created. The new class is still very early in its design. Furthermore, a character creation and character selection screen has been created.
Let's talk details!
Character Creation Screen
A new character creation screen has been created where one can choose which class to start as. It is always possible to switch at any time. The screen features a small introduction to the main concepts of the class and some example skills which one can investigate to get more information.
The Blademancer
This class is a fast melee class that deals magic damage. It uses Daggers and Talismans. The design principles for this class is that it should be combo heavy and fast-paced. This will make the Blademancer the most complicated class to play to date.
The Blademancer has an additional Chi resources. Some skills generate Chi, some require Chi, some have alternate effects after some Chi level.
There is much left to do, so far, only two skills have been implemented. There are many more to come, I just wanted to give a quick preview of the class.
More Content
After the initial trailer was made, I hade so many ideas for builds, so I focused on making more content for a while. This included: new Talents and new Skills. Featured above are some of the new Blast-related talents, which allows one to setup a Blast build, where everything explodes uncontrollably.
Some of the new skills include:
Battle Shout: Consume all Rage and deal P.Dmg based on current Rage.
Corrosive Shot: Deals damage and applies Corrosion On Hit.
Arcane Pulse: return A magic pulse deals M.Dmg around you and applies Stun for 3 Sec.
