While you’re waiting for your next replay of Universe Has No Favorites, I’ve been quietly working on something very different – and much darker.
My new project is called Darkward: a text-driven dark fantasy adventure inspired by Dark Souls and Lovecraftian horror. You explore the world by clicking highlighted words in the text – choosing where to go, what to examine, and which risks you’re willing to take. No button mashing, just atmosphere, choices, and consequences.
If you enjoy obscure lore, doomed pilgrims and slowly uncovering how a broken world really works, I think Darkward might be for you.
